HTC Wildfire E2 Plus with Unisoc T610 SoC and Quad-Rear Camera Launched

HTC has launched on Thursday a low-budget smartphone – HTC Wildfire E2 Plus. As of now, the budget-friendly phone has been launched in the Russian market. There’s no information on when the device will be launched for other markets. The key highlights are an Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset, four camera sensors on the rear penal, and a 60Hz IPS display. The new smartphone is the successor to HTC’s Wildfire E2 which was launched in August last year.

HTC Wildfire E2 Plus Price

HTC Wildfire E2 Plus price is set at RUB 12,990 (approximately Rs. 13,400) for the lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The smartphone is available to purchase in Russia through the e-commerce Citilink. HTC Wildfire E2 Plus is available in the Black color option.

The phone comes with a 6.82-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and 263ppi pixel density. It has a 60Hz refresh rate. There’s is also a waterdrop notch on the front penal. The dual (nano) SIM supporting smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box.

Under the hood, the handset comes with a Unisoc Tiger T610 SoC paired with Mali G52 GPU. The Wildfire E2 Plus is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage capacity can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor on the backside. Besides, the rear penal comes with quad camera sensors including a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, a 5MP secondary sensor, and two 2MP macro and depth sensors.

For selfies and video calling, it gets an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 lens. Connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Wildfire E2 Plus packs a 4,600mAh battery. Coming to the size and weight, it measures 174.2 x 98.6 x 9.3mm and weighs around 210 grams. Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, and gravity sensor.
