OnePlus 9RT to be Launched in India soon | Specifications and Price

OnePlus said they are not going to bring a specific T-model this year, but nevertheless, they have brought an upgraded variant of OnePlus 9R, called the OnePlus 9RT. For now, the smartphone was launched in China and we can expect that it will be announced soon for other markets including India. The biggest upgrade over the predecessor is its chipset, the handset switches from a Snapdragon 870 SoC to Qualcomm’s new generation Snapdragon 888 chipset. Other notable features are a 50MP triple rear camera module, a 6.62-inch AMOLED display, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus 9RT Price India (Expected)

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Oneplus 9RT price in India will be between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000 which is a little bit higher price. A couple of weeks ago, the handset was launched in China that has been priced at CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 38,400) for the 8GB/128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model comes in CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 40,900) while the top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB storage variant has been priced at CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs. 44,400).

The company has not revealed yet officially its release date and pricing details for the Indian market. So let’s see what details come in the coming days.

In terms of specs, the OnePlus 9RT comes with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1300nits of peak brightness. The display also brings a 1300Hz touch sampling rate and 100-percent of DCI-P3 color gamut. The handset offers 8GB and 12GB RAM options with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC along with Adreno 660 GPU.

Talking about cameras, we have noticed an up-gradation on the main camera, the OnePlus 9R has a 48MP sensor while the RT model brings a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. However, the company has offered three cameras on the rear side. The rest of rear sensors are a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front penal, users get a 16MP selfie and video calling camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

OnePlus 9RT runs on Android 11 based oppo’s ColorOS out of the box. Other specs include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and gyroscope. The company has offered an under-display fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock feature. Connectivity options are 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and much more.

The handset brings dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound support. OnePlus has provided a 4,500mAh battery on the phone that supports 65W Wrap Charge fast charging. In the case of dimensions, the Oneplus 9RT measures 162.2 x 74.6 x 8.29mm and weighs 198.5 grams.
