Vivo Y01A with Helio P35 SoC and 5,000mAh Battery Launched

Vivo has just announced its entry-level smartphone in Thailand, Vivo Y01A. Factually, the phone is a new variant of Vivo Y01 which was launched in march this year. It comes with similar specifications that have in the Vivo Y01. The key highlights are a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, a 6.51-inch HD+ display, a 5,000mAh battery, and 2GB RAM. Vivo Y01A Price and Availability

The phone has been priced in Thailand at THB 3,999 (approximately Rs. 9,100) for a single 2GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage. It is available in two color options, i.e. Sapphire Blue, and Elegant Black. It is expected that the Vivo Y01A will be available soon in other markets.

Let’s check its specs and features, the Vivo Y01A is offering a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset clubbed with IMG PowerVR 8320 GPU. Talking about the design, it comes with a waterdrop-style notch on the front panel and has a squarish camera module on the back. For dimensions, it measures 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm and weighs 178 grams.

The front panel gets a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. In terms of back camera, there’s a squarish camera module that comes with an 8MP sensor with an LED flash. The handset has offered 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, though, the storage is further expandable via a microSD card. Coming to security, it supports a face unlock feature, unfortunately, there’s no fingerprint sensor.

On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 11 (Go Edtion) with FunTouch OS 11.1 out of the box. The dual-SIM supporting Y01A has 4G networks.
