After a much long wait, Xiaomi has announced its Civi 2 smartphone for Chinese customers. It features a 120Hz AMOLED display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, and a triple rear camera module headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor. One of the most interesting features of the device is a dual-camera setup on the front side which is embedded inside a pill-shaped punch-hole cutout.
Xiaomi Civi 2 Price and Availability
The phone can be purchased in China on Xiaomi’s online store for a starting price of CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 27,000) for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage model. The 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model carries a price tag of CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 28,500). The top-of-the-line model 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage has been priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 32,000). It is available in three color options, i.e. Black, Blue, and Pink
Coming to the specifications, the Xiaomi Civi 2 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC along with Adreno GPU. The device comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It carries up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and Dolby vision support. Furthermore, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The phone has arrived with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and Adreno GPU. Xiaomi Civi 2 is available in three memory options – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB+256GB. In terms of optics, the smartphone is equipped with a triple camera unit on the back including a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The back panel also includes a 20MP secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the device comes with a 32MP front sensor with a 100-degree field-of-view. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone has 5G networks. For connectivity, there’s Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and GPS connectivity technologies. The phone includes a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. There’s a USB Type-C port to connect the charger. It also features Stainless Steel VC Liquid Cooling technology to enhance heat dissipation.
Xiaomi Civi 2 runs on Android 13 Operating System with MIUI 13 skin on the top. Besides, the handset measures 159.2 x 72.7 x 7.23mm and weighs around 172 grams.
