Oppo A6 5G was announced in China via a Weibo post. The device arrives with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset along with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It offers a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, a 6.57-inch AMOLED display and a 50MP dual rear camera setup. The Oppo A6 5G also has an IP69 rating certification and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It has been priced in China at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 20,000) for the base 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model. The device will also be available in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The Oppo A6 5G comes in three color options, i.e. Blue Ocean Light, Velvet Grey, and Fenmengshenghua (Pink).
Talking about specs and features, the dual-SIM supporting device runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box. The Oppo A6 5G features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 93 percent screen-to-body ratio and 1400nits of peak brightness. It carries a resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels.

The handset gets up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. However, users can expand its storage capacity via a microSD card. For biometric authentication, there’s an under-display fingerprint sensor. Oppo A6 5G has an IP69 rating certification for water and dust resistance.
In the camera, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the back that houses a 50MP primary wide-angle sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, the phone comes equipped with a 16MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
