Redmi 15A was launched in India on Friday as the latest 5G smartphone. The newest budget-friendly 15-series smartphone comes with an octa-core Unisoc T8300 SoC, a 6.9-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 32MP dual rear camera setup. The handset also has a 6.300mAh battery and IP52 rating certification for splash and dust resistance.
Redmi 15A Price in India and Availability
Redmi 15A price in India starts at Rs. 12,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage models come with a price tag of Rs. 14,499 and 16,499, respectively. It will be available via Flipkart, Mi.com, and authorised retail stores. The Redmi 15A has offered three color options, i.e. Awesome Blue, Amaze Purple, and Ace Black.
The dual-SIM supporting device runs on Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 and will get four years of Android updates and six years of security updates. Moving to the display, the phone features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 810nits of peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications.

The handset gets an octa-core 6nm Unisoc T8300 chipset with ARM Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of 2.2 internal storage. The storage capacity is further expandable via a microSD card up to 2TB. The Redmi 15A comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Furthermore, the device has an IP52 rating for splash and dust resistance.
There’s an ambient light sensor, e-compass, and proximity sensor. Connectivity features of the device are 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a USB Type-C port. The Redmi 15A is backed by a 6,300mAh battery with 15W wired fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging support.
Coming to the optics, the smartphone offers a dual camera setup on the backside that features a 32MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and a single LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the device provides an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 lens. The Redmi 15A also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio. In terms of dimensions, it measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15mm and weighs about 210 grams.
