Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone in India, the Redmi Turbo 5. The device offers a 6.9-inch 1.5k OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, and a 7,540mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The Redmi Turbo 5 arrives with an IP666+IP68+IP69+IP69K rating certification and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Redmi Turbo 5 Price in India and Availability

The smartphone has been priced in India at Rs. 37,999 for the base model that offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The high-end model comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, which carries a price tag of Rs. 40,999. The company is providing an instant discount of up to Rs. 2,000 on purchases made using SBI, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank credit cards.

It will be available for purchase in India via Amazon.in. The Redmi Turbo 5 comes in three color options, i.e. Asphalt Black, Nitro Blue, and Turbo White.

The dual-SIM supporting Redmi Turbo 5 runs on Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 out of the box. As for display, the device features a 6.9-inch 1.5k OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz instantaneous sampling rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 3500nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The Redmi Turbo 5 sports a dual-camera system on the back that houses a 50MP main camera featuring a Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image stabilisation, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front side, the phone has a 20MP sensor for selfies and video calling. Coming to the battery, it is powered by a 7,540mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
