Realme announced yesterday its Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro smartphones in China. The Realme GT 2 Pro comes with flagship specifications such as Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a 50MP Sony IMX 766 triple camera setup, and an LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Besides all the premium features, the phone also brings a collection of new and colorful stock wallpapers to customize its screen.

The dual-SIM supporting smartphone boots on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 skin on the top. Realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The handset comes in Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black, and Titanium Blue color options. For now, the phone has been launched in China and pre-orders are open. Realme GT 2 starts at CNY 2,600 (approximately Rs. 30,300). Coming to the hardware, the smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The Realme GT 2 Pro features a flat 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1440 x 3216 pixels. The display has a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and a maximum brightness of 1,400nits. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The GT 2 Pro sports a triple camera setup on the rear. It gets a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor with OIS and a 1/1.56 sensor size, a secondary 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 150 field of view, and a 2MP macro sensor. In terms of front camera, it brings a 32MP selfie camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, and much more. The dimensions are 163.2 x 74.7 x 8.2mm and weighs around 8.2 grams.
