Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has expanded its flagship lineup in China with the launch of the Redmi K100 Pro series. The new series was unveiled last week and consists of two models: the Redmi K100 Pro and the Redmi K100 Pro Max. Both smartphones carry Qualcomm’s chipsets; the K100 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V SoC, and the Pro Max gets a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Beyond the impressive hardware and features, the device also comes with a fresh collection of stock wallpapers.

Moving to the specs, the Redmi K100 Pro features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, while the K100 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. Both devices have up to 185Hz refresh rate, up to 4,800Hz instant touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision and up to 4,500nits of peak brightness. The new Redmi K100 Pro series smartphones run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

Talking about the processor, the Redmi K100 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V chipset with Adreno GPU. On the other hand, the K100 Pro Max launches with Qualcomm’s flagship 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. They carry Qualcomm AI Engine and a Dedicated D2 graphics. In terms of RAM and storage, both handsets offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 onboard storage.
As for battery, the Redmi K100 Pro packs an 8,580mAh battery, and the K100 Pro Max has a 9,070mAh battery. Both handsets’ cells support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging technology. For biometric authentication, they have an under-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
On the camera side, the K100 Pro series handsets sport a triple camera unit on the back, featuring a 200MP main camera with Optical Image stablisation. Coming to the front camera, both smartphones bring a 32MP sensor which is capable of 4K video recording.
