Vivo unveiled its new camera-centric S-series last year December month. The series comes with two new smartphones – Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro. Both the smartphones is offering two cameras on the front side, though the sensors’ size is different. Vivo S-series phones bring a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, a triple camera setup on the rear, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Both the S-series device looks premium and also come with a collection of unique and fresh stock wallpapers.

Talking about the Vivo S12 Pro display, it has a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.8:9 aspect ratio and 91.39 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display carries 1080 x 2376 pixels resolution. On the SoC front, the S12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, while the Vivo S12 comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.

Both the models carry 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Vivo S12 features a triple camera setup including a 108MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The Pro model has the same camera configuration which has been provided on Vivo S12. In terms of the front camera, the vanilla S12 gets a dual-camera setup that houses a 44MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.28 lens.
Speaking about the Vivo S12 Pro selfie camera, it also offers a dual-camera setup on the front that includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both the phones have a dual-SIM slot and run on Android 11 based OriginOS ocean. Onboard sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyro, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. They come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The vanilla Vivo S12 offers a 4,200mAh battery that supports 44W Flash Charge fast charging, while the S12 Pro model provides a larger 4,300mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge support. The company brings an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock features for biometric authentication. Coming to connectivity, it offers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
