Honor recently unveiled the Honor V Purse outward foldable smartphone in the Chinese market. The new smartphone is available through a limited pre-sale in China. The key highlights of the Honor V Purse are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, a 50MP dual-rear camera setup, and a 4,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
Honor V Purse Price and Availability
The smartphone price starts at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 68,400) for the 16GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model. The 16GB RAM with 512GB internal storage model carries a price tag of CNY 6,599 (approximately Rs. 75,300). It comes in three color options, i.e. Black, Blue, and Golden. It is now available through a limited pre-sale in China. There’s no information when the phone will be available for other markets.
The outward-folding Honor V Purse features a 7.71-inch main OLED display with a resolution of 2348 x 2016 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an 89.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. When it folded, the device comes with a 6.45-inch screen with a resolution of 2348 x 1088 pixels with a 90Hz refresh, 1600nits of peak brightness, and a PWM dimming rate of 2160Hz.

In terms of processor, the Honor V Purse is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with 16GB of RAM. For storage, the device comes equipped with up to 512GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Operating System, the outward foldable smartphone is pre-installed with Android 13 OS with MagicOS 7.2 on the top. Coming to the optics, the Honor V Purse has a dual camera setup on the back that houses a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The phone offers an 8MP front-facing camera.
The device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 35W wired fast charging support. There’s also 5W reverse charging support. Coming to the dimensions, it measures 156.5 x 74.7 x 8.6mm and weighs around 214 grams. When unfolded, the device measures 156.5 x 135.6 x 4.3mm.
