Motorola has released its new tablet for the Indian market, called Moto Pad 70. The newest Android-based tablet comes with a 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS display, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, and a 10,200mAh battery with 68W fast-charging support. The tablet comes with an IP52 rating, four speakers with Dolby Atmos sound and Android 16 Operating System.
Moto Pad 70 Price in India and Availability
The device is priced in India at Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage model. The 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model costs Rs. 36,999. The Moto Pad 70 will go on sale in India via Flipkart and Motorola e-store from August 15. It comes in the Pantone Sea Angel color option.
As for specs and features, the tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 600nits of brightness and 96 percent DCI-P3 color coverage. The panel receives TÜV Rheinland certifications for Flicker-Free operation and Low Blue Light emissions. On the software side, the Moto Pad 70 runs on Android 16; however, the company claims to provide two major OS upgrades and security updates until 2030.

Moving to the processor, the tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC clubbed with Arm Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
For the cameras, the Moto Pad 70 offers a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The tablet gets an IP52-rated certification for dust and splash resistance. It has Gemini integration and provides AI features such as Circle to Search, AI Summary, and AI Continue Writing.
The tablet arrives with four speakers that support Dolby Atmos sound. In terms of battery, the device is backed by a 10,200mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. Connectivity features on the tablet include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port. Coming to the dimensions, it measures 278.8 x 181.5 x 6.49mm and weighs about 530 grams.
