Motorola Edge 40 Neo with MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC and 144Hz Display Launched

The Lenovo-owned Motorola just unveiled its latest 5G capable smartphone in the Indian market, called Motorola Edge 40 Neo. The latest E-series phone has a 6.55-inch 144Hz pOLED display, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. Other notable features are a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, an under-display fingerprint sensor and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo Price in India and Availablity

Motorola Edge 40 Neo price starts at Rs. 23,999 for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage variant. The top-end model 12GB RAM with 256GB inbuilt storage carries a price tag of Rs. 25,999. It will go on sale starting September 28 at 7:00pm IST. The smartphone comes in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea color options and you can purchase it via the company’s official e-store and select retail store.

The dual-nano SIM supporting Motorola Edge 40 Neo ships Android 13 Operating System. The company has promised that it will provide two years of OS upgrades. Coming to the display, the phone features a curved 6.55-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display comes with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Furthermore, the Edge 40 Neo has a punch-hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera which brings a 32MP sensor.

Under the hood, it has arrived with an octa-core 6nm Dimensity 7030 chipset paired with Arm Mali G610 MC3 GPU. As mentioned above, the smartphone is equipped with up to 12GB of LPPDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. On the back, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo offers a dual camera module that houses a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image stabilization and f/1.8 aperture, and a 13MP secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

The handset gets an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Furthermore, it has offered an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The notable sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and SAR sensor. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.
