OnePlus’s new mid-range smartphone is known as OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G which was launched in the Indian market on February 17. It is the company’s slimmest smartphone ever at just 7.8mm. The main key attractions are a Dimensity 900 5G SoC, a 64MP triple rear camera, a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The Nord CE 2 5G offers a two SIM card tray and also supports a microSD card slot to expand storage capacity. It comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage that is further expandable up to 1TB. It sports a triple-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie shooter is 16MP which is similar to OnePlus Nord CE.
Other notable features are an under-display fingerprint sensor and it has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The handset runs on Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 out of the box. besides, it measures 160.6 x 73.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 173 grams.
