Oppo has just unveiled a new smartphone in the Chinese market called Oppo A2 Pro. The device ships with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. Other notable features are a 64MP dual-rear camera setup, up to 12GB of RAM, an 8MP front camera, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The company also has provided a 5,000mAh battery and Oppo will offer a free battery replacement within 4 years of the purchase date.
Oppo A2 Pro Price and Availablity
Pricing of the Oppo A2 Pro is set at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,820/$248) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage model while the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model comes at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,150/$275). The top-end model 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage carries a price tag of CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 27,400/$330). The smartphone comes in Vast Black, Desert Brown (Vegan Leather), and Dust Cloud Purple (Twilight) color options. It will go on sale in China from September 22.
Coming to the specifications, the A2 Pro is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with Mali G68 MC4 GPU. Furthermore, the device comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. In terms of connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone has 5G networks.

The smartphone is built around a curved 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display that carries a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. The display also comes with up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 394ppi pixel density, 800nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. Talking about battery, the Oppo A2 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The handset also supports an under-screen fingerprint reader and face unlock feature.
Around the back, the phone has a camera island housing LED flash and two cameras – a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. As mentioned above, the A2 Pro supports an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Users get an IP54-rated certification for water and dust resistance.
Oppo A22 Pro is pre-installed with ColorOS 13.1 on the top of Android 13. Sensors onboard are an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, light sensor, and geomagnetic induction. Dimensions and weights, it measures 162.66 x 74.28 x 7.99mm and weighs about 185 grams.
