Oppo recently announced its new budget-friendly 5G capable smartphone in its homeland, called Oppo A2. The device’s key highlights are a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Oppo A2 Price and Availablity
Oppo A2 has been priced in China at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 19,350) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model. The 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage model comes at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,500). It comes in Black, Green, and Violet color options. The smartphone is now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from November 6th.
As for specifications and features, the smartphone offers a 6.72-inch FHD LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, up to 680 nits of peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display carries 1080 x 2400 pixels. Speaking about processor, the Oppo A2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC coupled with Mali G57 MC2 GPU.

Furthermore, the handset gets 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of USF 2.2 inbuilt storage. The Oppo A2 also offers a memory expansion feature via a microSD card. Moving to the back, it has a dual camera setup on the rear panel that houses a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There’s also an LED flash on the back. For selfies and video calling, it has an 8MP front sensor.
Oppo A2 comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The dual-SIM supporting smartphone runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 out of the box. For security, it supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Oppo A2 arrives with Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of dimensions, it measures 165.6 x 76 x 7.99mm and weighs around 193 grams.
