Poco’s latest flagship F9 series was launched on Tuesday in select global markets. Now, the company is offering two smartphones in the F9 lineup: the Poco F9 Pro and the Poco F9 Ultra. Both handsets are set to go on sale soon via the Xiaomi online store. If we talk about their key specs, the Poco F9 Pro has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series 3nm SoC, while the Poco F9 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm chipset. They offer a 200MP main back camera, a 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra Price
Poco F9 Pro starts at $699 (approximately Rs. 66,000) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. Its 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant is priced at $769 (approximately Rs. 73,000).
Meanwhile, the Poco F9 Ultra begins at $799 (approximately Rs. 76,000) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB model. The 16GB RAM with 1TB version costs $949 (approximately Rs. 90,000), while the highest-end model is listed at $1,199 (approximately Rs. 1,14,000).
The Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra will go on sale across select global markets through the Xiaomi online store. The Poco F9 Pro will be available in Aurora Green, Black, and White color options, whereas the Poco F9 Ultra will come in Black and Dark Cherry color options.
As for specs and features, both smartphones run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box. The Pro variant comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, while the Ultra model has a 6.9-inch 1.5K 12-bit AMOLED Panel with a 185Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Poco F9 Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset along with Adreno GPU.

On the other hand, the Poco F9 Ultra Octa Core comes with an octa-core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU and VisionBoost D8 Chipset. The F9 Pro has 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM with up to 512GB of internal storage, and the Poco F9 Ultra offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Both handsets have a 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

In the camera department, the Poco F9 series smartphones feature a triple-camera unit on the back, including a 200MP primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch S5KHP5 sensor and an f/1.68 aperture, and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.75 aperture. However, the Pro model gets an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor while the Ultra model brings a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.
