Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi has launched its new mid-range smartphone in the Chinese market, called Redmi M100. The handset’s key highlights are an octa-core 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a large 7,900mAh battery with 45W fast charging technology. Redmi M100 Price and Availability
The phone has been priced in China starting at Yuan 1,999 (approximately $296/Rs. 28,000) for the 6GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage models come at Yuan 1,799 (approximately $266/Rs. 25,000) and Yuan 2,199 (approximately $326/Rs. 31,000). The Redmi M100 is currently available for purchase in China.
You can get the smartphone in three different color options, i.e. Haoyehei, Star Rain White, and Wilderness Green.
The dual-SIM-supporting Redmi M100 ships with Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Talking about display, it features a 6.9-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It comes with up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 675nits typical brightness and up to 825nits global brightness. The screen also has TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light emissions and flicker-free performance.

Furthermore, the handset brings up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Redmi M100 is equipped with an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC clubbed with Adreno 629 GPU. Moving to the cameras, the smartphone sports a 13MP primary sensor on the back. As for the front camera, the Redmi M100 gets a 5MP sensor.
The device packs a 7,900mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. The Redmi M100 has an accelerometer, electronic compass, and virtual distance sensor.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone arrives with 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Galileo, and a USB Type-C port. Talking about dimensions, it measures 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8mm and weighs about 232 grams.
