Tecno today introduced the Camon 50 Ultra 5G in India as the successor to the Camon 30 lineup. The new smartphone arrives with a MediaTek 7300 Ultimate SoC with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM, a 50MP triple rear camera unit and a 6,500mAh battery. The Camon 50 Ultra has an IP66+ IP68+ IP69K rating and Military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810). There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G Price in India and Availability
Tecno has introduced the Camon 50 Ultra 5G in India at a starting price of Rs. 39,999. During the launch period, customers can avail of a Rs. 3,000 coupon, bringing the effective cost down to Rs. 36,999. Additionally, the handset will be available with up to six months of no-cost EMI.
The smartphone will go on sale in India on July 21 via Amazon.in. It comes in three color options, i.e. Cypress Green, Misty Purple, and Nebula Titanium.
The dual-SIM-supporting Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16. It sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K ProXDR Curved display with a resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels. The screen features up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 2,800Hz touch sampling rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. For durability, the handset has an IP66, IP68, and IP69K rating certification for water and dust resistance. Moreover, it gets the MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for durability.

For biometric authentication, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G offers an in-display fingerprint sensor. Moving to the RAM and storage, the phone launches with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Camon 50 Ultra 5G supports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.
For optics, the handset comes equipped with a triple-camera setup on the back that houses a 50MP camera with a 1/1.56-inch LYT-700C sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50MP 3x telephoto sensor. Coming to the front side, it has offered a 50MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The smartphone can record video at up to 4K/30fps.
