Vivo V30, V30 Pro with 50MP Front Camera and 5,000mAh Battery Launched in India | Specs and Features

Vivo released on Thursday two new smartphones in the Indian market, called Vivo V30 and Vivo 30 Pro. Both the handsets share almost the same specs and features, nevertheless, there are a few differences. The base V30 offers a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a dual-camera setup on the back. The V30 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and a triple-rear camera setup. Let’s take a look at both phones’ specs and features.

Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Pro Price and Availability

The Vivo V30 Pro price starts in India at Rs. 41,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model. The 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 46,999. It has offered two color options, i.e. Andaman Blue and Classic Black.

In terms of Vivo V30 price, it starts at Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, the 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model comes at Rs. 35,999 and the 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage model has been priced at Rs. 37,999. It is available in Andaman Blue, Classic Black and Peacock Green Shade color options.

Both the handsets will be available to purchase starting March 14 through Flipkart, Vivo India e-store and other offline retail outlets. However, the pre-booking has started from today.

Talking about specs and features, both smartphones come with 6.78-inch curved 1.5k AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,800nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the base model Vivo V30 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset while the Pro model has arrived with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. They have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

Moving to the software, Vivo has provided Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14 on both handsets. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, GPS and USB Type-C port. The Vivo V30 offers Bluetooth 5.4 version while the Pro model has Bluetooth v5.3. Vivo V30 and Vivo 30 Pro are powered by 5,000mAh batteries that support 80W wired fast charging support. For security, they are equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

In the camera department, the Vivo V30 sports a dual-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and a 50MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. Moving to the V30 Pro back cameras, it comes with three sensors on the back which are a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50MP portrait sensor. For selfies and video calling, both smartphones offer 50MP selfie sensors.
